Overview: This online workshop teaches you about building envelope loads and how to manage them better using simulation outputs in the High Performance Building (HPB) design process, with a focus on facade design in commercial buildings.
What You Will Learn: Through this workshop, you will learn how to question and interpret simulation outputs, and how to frame design questions that shape simulations for meaningful and actionable results. You will also explore how facade design and material choices influence energy performance and user comfort, through guided design exercises.

About The Trainers: Deepa is an architect and building science professional, who has conducted more than 80 professional training programmes covering over 6,000 learners on building science concepts, simulation skills, and sustainability strategies. She serves as a faculty member at CEPT University, and is an ECBC Master Trainer.
Arjita is an architect and building energy professional. She works with the IIHS Sustainable Energy Lab, and is a member of the core team of SDI, the world’s largest net-zero challenge for students.
