Programme Objectives
- Understand the fundamentals of HPB design
- Develop the vocabulary and skills for multi-disciplinary work on buildings
- Learn the basics of energy simulations and coding for building performance analysis
- Set and deliver on high performance targets with metrics that matter
- Develop the soft skills for communicating the value proposition of your designs
Programme Overview
The Multi-Format Immersive Learning Programme is delivered in a mixed hybrid format. You will receive your certificate for the programme when you finish the first three components; additionally, you are provided access to the HVAC game.
You will benefit most from the programme if you are
- An early career working professional in the building sector
- A consultant with building design and allied businesses
- A real estate development professional
- A professional looking to pursue a master’s degree in sustainable buildings
Online
Self-paced Online Learning
Pick up your fundamentals with 11 tightly integrated learning modules that explain the building science of HPBs with simple audio-visuals
Webinars
Four live online workshops help you learn the fundamentals of building performance simulations and get started on Python coding for data analysis and
visualisation
Interactive 3D Game
Explore the building and its HVAC system in a gaming environment, analyse equipment and loads, learn building audits, solve problems, and master HVAC
concepts
Immersive Workshop
Three days to get deeper into the practices of HPBs with passive and active strategies to reduce energy and improve performance.
A one-day guided tour of an HPB is part of the three-day Immersive Workshop, where you learn about the practical features of the building and how they help improve comfort, productivity, and save millions in operating costs.
In Class
At the end of the programme, you will have
- An IIHS-Infosys Certificate of completion
- World-class learning on a critical subject in the future of the building industry
- Exposure to live projects and initiatives in the HPB sector
- Free access to simulation software: DesignBuilder or IESVE
- Become part of an emerging group of HPB practitioners in the country, connected through an alumni database, enabling networking and career opportunities
